Lei Liao is currently a professor at Department of Physics, Wuhan University, where he received his B.S. and PhD degrees, both in Physics from 2000 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Xiangfeng Duan’s group at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of California Los Angeles. His research focused on the high performance thin film transistor based on nanomaterials, and high-speed radio frequency devices. Lei has published nearly 70 scientific papers such as Nature, PNAS, Nano Lett., Adv. Mater., etc., and holds several patents. Lei has received same awards, including Hubei Province Natural Science 1st award (2012), NSFC Young Award (2012), Scopus Young award (2011), and Singapore SMF Young Researcher Award (2008).
