Two‑dimensional assembled membranes and selective ion transport

The interlayer‑confined space of two‑dimensional assembled membranes provides a unique platform for the directional and selective transport of substances. Through geometric modulation, low‑tortuosity ion migration can be induced in electrochemical reactions to boost reaction kinetics. Furthermore, by regulating the interlayer spacing and interlayer chemical environment</

Biography

Lei Dong, Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Deputy Director of Shaanxi Provincial Joint Key Laboratory of Graphene. He received his Doctor of Science degree from the Department of Polymer Science, Fudan University in 2015 under the supervision of Professor Hongbin Lu. He then carried out research work at the National University of Singapore and ShanghaiTech University before joining Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2022. His research focuses on the preparation of two‑dimensional layered materials and their applications in high‑efficiency separation membranes and lithium‑ion batteries. He has published more than 100 papers in journals such as Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater. and Chem. Soc. Rev., and has filed over ten Chinese invention patents.
