Reader in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London, UK (associate professor-level; listed as "Prof" in the conference directory), Fellow and College Lecturer at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and Director of the Centre for Processable Electronics at Imperial College London. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies in Microelectronics Engineering at the University of Catania, Italy, and received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2013. He previously served as a Lecturer in Graphene Technology at the University of Cambridge, co-leader of the Cambridge Graphene Centre and the Graphene Technology Doctoral Training Centre, and participated in the roadmap development of the EU Graphene Flagship. His research focuses on printed flexible electronics, photonics, wearable/electronic textiles, and bioelectronics based on graphene and two-dimensional materials. He has pioneered the development of printed electronics and photonics from two-dimensional materials, demonstrating that electronic devices, sensors, and integrated circuits can be printed from two-dimensional material inks on arbitrary substrates such as plastics and textiles. He has co-authored more than 70 papers and co-founded three start-up companies: Cambridge Graphene Platform, Cambridge Graphene, and Grapholymer. He is scheduled to share insights on the industrialization pathway of graphene printed electronics and wearable devices.
