Biography

Professor He Daping is currently a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Physics and Mechanics, Wuhan University of Technology, Director of the Hubei Provincial Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Center, and Chairman and Chief Technical Engineer of Wuhan Hanxi Technology Co., Ltd. He has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Science and Technology of China, the University of Bath, and the University of Cambridge. In 2014, he received the Newton International Fellowship and was appointed as a Newton Scholar of the Royal Society (UK). He has been engaged in graphene research for more than ten years, pioneered high-temperature carbon repair technology, developed a highly conductive macroscopic graphene film, and achieved engineered continuous production, with electrical conductivity reaching 2×10⁶ S/m and thermal conductivity exceeding 1500 W/(m·K), placing its performance at the forefront of similar products worldwide. In 2019, he founded Wuhan Hanxi Technology, built a standardized production line, and achieved an annual production capacity of macroscopic graphene film exceeding 600,000 square meters, with more than 20 authorized national invention patents. Its products cover fields such as high-power device heat dissipation, high-frequency information communication, and high-safety energy storage batteries, with users including the Second Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, China Electronics Technology Group, Huawei, and COMAC. In 2022, he established Sanya Hanxi and developed a graphene marine communication antenna (which passed a 4,320-hour salt spray test without corrosion) and achieved mass production. In 2025, the Hubei Provincial Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Center and the National Graphene Innovation Center Collaborative Innovation Base (Wuhan), which he led in establishing, settled in Jiang'an, forming a "talent—industry—project" linkage model, attracting more than 20 national-level talents and housing more than 30 enterprises in the industrial chain. He is scheduled to share breakthroughs in the preparation and engineering applications of macroscopic graphene films at the conference.

Important Honors: Newton Scholar of the Royal Society (UK) (2014 Newton International Fellowship); Chairman of Wuhan Hanxi Technology Co., Ltd. and Director of the Hubei Provincial Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Center; 2025 Wuhan United Front "Fellow Striver"
