Biography

Group leader of the CVD group in the Laboratory of Molecular Functional Materials at Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Germany, and affiliated with the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed). He received his B.Sc. from the Chemistry Base Class at Wuhan University in 2015 and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Wuhan University in 2020 under Professor Lei Fu, after which he joined Professor Xinliang Feng's group as a postdoctoral researcher (as a recipient of the Humboldt Research Fellowship). His research focuses on the controllable chemical vapor deposition (CVD) synthesis of two-dimensional conductive metal-organic frameworks (2D c-MOFs), two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs), two-dimensional polymers, and graphene nanoribbons, as well as their device applications in (opto)electronics and spintronics. Representative achievements include the review "Conductive 2D Conjugated Metal–Organic Framework Thin Films: Synthesis and Functions for (Opto)electronics" published in Small Structures (2022) with Yunxu Chen, Xinliang Feng, and Renhao Dong, as well as new methods reported in Nature Synthesis (2024) and J. Am. Chem. Soc. (2025) for the synthesis of ultra-flat 2D c-MOF thin films on liquid gallium surfaces and the ammonia-assisted CVD growth of two-dimensional conjugated coordination polymer thin films. He is scheduled to present at this conference on the controllable CVD preparation of two-dimensional conductive MOF/COF thin films and heterostructures and their applications in (opto)electronic devices.

Honors: Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers (2022); Hubei Province "Yangtze River Student" (2020); First Prize of the Wuhan University "Academic Innovation Award" (2020); Cell Press 2019 China Annual Paper.
