Professor Kang Feiyu is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School. He has long been engaged in research on natural graphite and graphene, carbon materials for energy storage, and advanced batteries. He has promoted the industrialization process of natural graphite anodes and graphene applications in lithium-ion batteries, invented aqueous zinc-ion batteries, and established a dielectric-coupled ceramic solid-state electrolyte construction strategy, providing a solution for the industrialization of solid-state batteries. He has published more than 500 papers as corresponding or first author in journals such as Nature Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials. From 2018 to 2023, he was continuously selected as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. He has published the monograph Deep Processing Technology of Natural Graphite and Its Applications, and co-authored 7 Chinese and English works including Carbon-Based Nanomaterials for Energy Storage. He holds 190 authorized invention patents, of which 31 have achieved technology transfer and application. As first completer, he won the Second Prize of the National Technology Invention Award, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Award, and the First Prize of the Technology Invention Award of the China Building Materials Society. Professor Kang Feiyu is the academic leader of the Division of Energy and Environment at Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, and a representative scholar in domestic research on the application of natural graphite and carbon materials. At the conference's Future Energy Forum, he plans to share the industrialization progress of graphene and carbon materials in the field of energy storage batteries.
