Biography
Shirong Huang, Ph.D., Senior Researcher at the Chair of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, TU Dresden, and head of the Digital Olfactory Sensor Research Group; IEEE Senior Member. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering in 2022 under the supervision of Professor Gianaurelio Cuniberti. His research covers gas sensors, biosensors, electronic noses, machine learning, molecular dynamics simulations, carbon nanomaterials, and novel two-dimensional materials. He has published 78 papers, which have been cited nearly 10,000 times. He has studied the tuning of the thermal and mechanical properties of graphene films, and has extensive experience in the sensor applications of graphene and low-dimensional materials.
