Sun Sai is the technical lead of the graphene-based functional materials application development project at Sinopec (Shanghai) Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. He has led five provincial/ministerial-level key R&D projects, holds 42 authorized domestic and international patents, and has published 15 SCI papers. He successfully developed a non-destructive exfoliation preparation technology for powdered graphene and a graphene-based heavy-duty anticorrosion coating. The comprehensive performance of the independently developed graphene-based heavy-duty anticorrosion coating has been certified by an authoritative third-party organization, and the product has achieved large-scale application in key projects of major state-owned enterprises such as Sinopec, PetroChina, China State Construction, and China Pingmei Shenma, generating cumulative economic benefits exceeding 50 million yuan and gaining broad recognition from downstream users.
