Researcher Xu Jianxun is currently a researcher at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, and serves as the project leader of the "Carbon Nanocone Field Emission Electron Gun" project at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Nanoscience and Technology Innovation Research Institute. In 2023, he joined the Ningbo National Graphene Innovation Center in a flexible manner, leading the research and development of "graphene glass" technology. From 1997 to 2006, he studied at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, under Professor Gu Zhennan, and successively obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Science degree. After that, he conducted research at the Carbon Nanotube Project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST-SORST), the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) of Japan, and the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) of Japan. He successively carried out research on functionalized probes for carbon nanomaterials and nanomedicine in the teams of Professor Sumio Iijima, the discoverer of carbon nanotubes, and Professor Tomonobu Nakayama. After joining the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology in 2012, he has mainly engaged in research on graphene and carbon nanocone electron microscope electron guns and their industrialization. The carbon nanocone field emission electron gun he developed has been included in the Chinese Academy of Sciences' list of independently developed instruments. The series of new methods he developed for preparing graphene using pulsed current, pulsed microwave, and electromagnetic induction ultrafast methods has provided a new path for the industrialization of graphene thin-film functional materials, and he has developed a technology for growing meter-scale graphene glass in air without a catalyst. He has published more than 40 SCI papers and holds more than 20 domestic and international patents. At the conference, he plans to share the latest progress in graphene glass and ultrafast graphene preparation methods.
Important Honors: Researcher at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology; the carbon nanocone field emission electron gun was included in the Chinese Academy of Sciences' list of independently developed instruments; more than 20 authorized invention patents (including "A Metal Carbide Tip and Its Preparation Method and Application, and Electron Gun," authorized in 2022).
