Professor Xu Yang is currently a Qiushi Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Integrated Circuits, Zhejiang University, a member of the State Key Laboratory of Silicon and Advanced Semiconductor Materials, a jointly appointed professor at the ZJU-UIUC Institute, and a national-level high-level leading talent. He received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, and his master's and doctoral degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in the United States. He has served as a visiting scholar at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, and a visiting professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has long been committed to frontier basic research on silicon-based heterogeneous integrated devices and intelligent AI chips, with core directions in graphene and silicon micro-nano information devices, and front-end/back-end integration of two-dimensional materials with silicon CMOS, oriented toward the Internet of Everything and ubiquitous electronics in the post-Moore era, achieving highly sensitive intelligent sensing, wide-spectrum imaging, and low-power in-sensor computing. He has published more than 180 papers in journals and conferences such as Nature Electronics, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, Chemical Reviews, Advanced Materials, IEDM, and VLSI, published 1 Wiley monograph, and holds more than 30 authorized invention patents. He has been invited to publish commentaries and reviews in Nature Photonics and Chemical Reviews. He undertakes projects including Key Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Key R&D Program projects. He is a Fellow of the American Optical Society (Optica/OSA), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET). He also serves as an IEEE Nanotechnology Council Distinguished Lecturer and an Associate Editor of IEEE TED. At the conference's Future Information Forum, he plans to share the latest progress in graphene/silicon heterojunction integrated devices and intelligent imaging chips.
