Biography
Researcher at the Laboratory of Molecular Functional Materials, Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Germany, and at the Department of Synthetic Materials and Functional Devices, Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics. His research focuses on the controllable growth and (opto)electronic property tuning of two-dimensional conductive metal-organic frameworks (2D c-MOFs) and two-dimensional semiconductor materials, covering solution/interface synthesis of ultrathin III-V single crystals, two-dimensional GaN, and graphene-related materials. Representative achievements include the review "Conductive 2D Conjugated Metal-Organic Framework Thin Films: Synthesis and Functions for (Opto)electronics" published in Small Structures (2022) with Jinxin Liu et al., and "On-liquid-gallium surface synthesis of ultra-smooth conductive metal-organic framework thin films" published in Nature Synthesis (2024), which achieved large-area ultra-flat 2D c-MOF thin films. During his Ph.D. studies in Professor Lei Fu's group at Wuhan University, he published "Universal growth of ultra-thin III-V semiconductor single crystals" in Nature Communications (2020) as a co-first author, and participated in work on two-dimensional GaN single crystal growth published in J. Am. Chem. Soc. (2018).
